This microWIL is recommended for users for whom a Microsoft application is the main working tool, i.e. processing data sets, designing report processing workflows, etc.

Description

VBA is the programming language for user-defined automation in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access. Its simplicity allows beginners to quickly save time on repetitive tasks. It reduces tasks that take minutes to a few seconds. This microWIL is an introduction to VBA for Excel. The learning is transferable to other Microsoft applications. At the end of the session the participant will be able to design, program and execute a VBA automation by himself and save time.

Requirements for successful completion of the micro-wil :

 

 

  • Be a college or university undergraduate student enrolled in a Canadian educational institution
  • Be present during the entire micro-wil
  • Complete the assignement

 

 

Assignement:

 

The mandate of the deliverable will be provided during the live zoom session. The deliverable will consist of brief VBA code for an industry-related task. Participants will submit their results via email on Novembre 19th at 12PM. The email address will be provided during the live session.
