The Aeroderivative Gas Turbine (AGT) Research & Development facility is based in Montreal, where we develop and build gas turbines for industry based on Rolls-Royce aircraft engine technology and tools.

Our products are typically used in a range of applications:

• Peak-load and back-up power generation to balance grids and enable increased renewable content
• Industrial power generation for very large power and heat consumers
• Powering gas and oil extraction and pumping, particularly offshore

You've finished or are finishing your engineering degree?  Become one of eight interns for two years in our Montreal facilities:

• Seven students at the end of their mechanical/aeronautical/materials engineering courses
• One graduate at the end of their software engineering courses
• Placements in multiple business areas to develop both breadth and depth
• One rotation based in the United Kingdom, providing that a visa can be obtained
• Internships are paid at CAD$70,000 per year including three weeks of vacation time
• At the end of the internship we expect individuals to be well-placed to apply for permanent positions at Siemens Energy based on availability
   

All applicants must have the right to work in Canada for the duration of the internship.

Siemens Energy Canada can provide letters of support to help individuals selected for internships to extend existing work permits if required.

All applicants must be eligible for access to dual-use controlled technology.
