Internship objectives:-

Provide support for the IPPQ processes and CAPA for engine failure investigations ( Repair and overhaul process of the Siemens SGT-A65)

 

Internship description:-

The intern’s role is to support the manufacturing and assembly of the SGT-A65 engines.

Under the supervision of the repair engineer within the service engineering team, the intern will be part of a multidisciplinarty team and will be tasked to :

 

  • Understand and develop the repair /overhaul strategy for the SGT-A65 overhaul engines.
  • Review daily the deviation of the engine component and help in troubleshooting the cause of the damage/failure.
  • Work closely with the TS (Technical Services) engineering team for the qualification of the process using IPPQ (Internal Product Process Qualification).
  • Work with TS (Technical Services) engineering and Quality team to help in investigating CAPA (corrective action preventive action) related to engine failures at test bed.

 

The intern will be required to:

 

  • Work with union environment with hands-one approach.
  • Work on export control documentation.
  • Work as a team player and do the material assessment.

 

The intern will work in the build shop and may go to test facility to collect data and carry out analysis and will be required to wear safety shoes that comply with Siemens safety policies. It is the responsibility of the intern to have their own safety shoes.

 

Deliverables:-

 

  • Update and track the status of IPPQ (Internal Product Process Qualification) projects.
  • Perform pFMEA for the IPPQ process
  • Create and update CAPA (corrective action preventive action) tool related documents; Fishbone diagram, RCA (root cause analysis) and corrective actions.
  • May produce, TLRF, TI, TDRS, A-Sheet and TSR

Compétences

  • English IRL level  4 / Francais IRL niveau 4  
  • Work with union environment with hands-one approach.
  • Work on export control documentation.
  • Work as a team player and do the material assessment.
